Dejou Promotional "Levitan" Furniture Van, Circa 1936

The French company "Levitan" were the largest of furniture manufacturers and retailers in France. The company promoted the Art-Deco style of living during its peak in the 1930's when this large Promotional Toy/Model was made.

The Dejou toy company were commissioned by Levitan in 1935 to make this "nursery" type toy as a showroom model - Its impressive 72 cms size would have been a visible draw to passers by and onlookers.
