Mercury is an Italian brand of diecast toy cars that stands along with such famous British manufacturers as Dinky Toys, Corgi Toys and Matchbox. It pioneered diecast toy production in Italy – The first models dated to the mid-forties. Mercury had been dominating the Italian market up until the early sixties, when Politoys introduced the M series.   

Their iconic models include Italian Ferraris, Alfa Romeos, FIATs and Maseratis.

Nowadays, Mercury cars are rare and searched after by diecast collectors all over the world.
